RAARE ~~ Radical Action Advancing Racial Equity ~~

The RAARE Woman Collective: Radical Action Advancing Racial Equity is a racial equity program and coaching suite for “inclined” white women who want to advance racial equity at home, at work, and in their communities. Recognizing that there are white women who very much want to LEAD in the eradication of racism in their spheres of influence, but don’t know how and may be:

● So scared to say the wrong thing that they say nothing on this topic

● Don’t want to trip up with black women and take space that they believe is not theirs

● Worried that the same old approach to anti-racism is yielding lack-luster results and is NOT going to make real change

● Would appreciate a community of women from around the country –all assented to the same language, framework AND support in furtherance of this work

● Looking for legacy-setting impact to change the world

RAARE Offers the Following Supportive Services:

  1. Racial Equity Advising

  2. Coaching for Individuals and Cohorts

  3. Conferences and Events

  4. Small Group Discussion Support

  5. Training and Experiencial learning for leaders

What Makes RAARE Woman Collective Unique

  • Collective Movement Towards Equity: We see our work as part of a broader movement towards racial equity, striving for systemic change and a world where racism cannot thrive.

  • Leadership, Not Just Allyship: We empower inclined white women to lead in advancing racial equity, emphasizing active leadership roles rather than passive allyship.

  • Intentional Language and Definitions: We use deliberate language such as racism and racial equity, avoiding terms like white supremacy, white fragility, and anti-racism to focus on constructive dialogue and action.

  • Attributes Integral to Advocacy: Our approach integrates values like empathy, respect, and proactive engagement to amplify the impact of our advocacy efforts.

  • Focus on Inclined White Women: We engage with inclined white women who are already committed to racial equity, aiming to activate and support their journey without attempting to convert or convince.

  • Economic and Demographic Considerations: We recognize the intersectionality of race and economics, addressing these factors in our efforts to promote equity.

  • Community-Centered Approach: We provide education, tools, training, and support within a community framework, fostering meaningful connections and collective action.

  • Embracing Grace: At the core of our mission is the belief that racial equity heals societal wounds, promoting healing and understanding rather than perpetuating harm.
